AuroraPage 9: 26 September 2001. 00:40 Local time. (08:40ut) During an intense blinding few minutes I shot a single roll of Superia 800. The bright but featureless auroral glow suddenly came alive, and the otherwise dark sky was speckled with just a few of the brighter stars, with those in Pleiades being about the dimmest visable to my naked eye. There were moments of bright curtians with red-under-green. You'll see a bit of that here, but the movement has blended out most of the effect. This was the one remarkable time in this event as I caught it.
